This easy, symmetrical & reversible design makes effective use of garter stitch, stockinette stitch & eyelet rows. An I-Cord edge is incorporated along one side, & an I-Cord bind off is also worked. As a result you end up with I-Cord edges along both sides.

The stitch patterns present diagonally when wearing the shawl.

Overcoat is triangular, making it extremely versatile to style & wear. It drapes nicely & evenly, & as such is also perfect for throwing over your shoulders when you want to protect yourself from a draft on your back.

The shawl can be styled as a cowl or scarf, & when worn over a coat or jacket, a lovely brooch or shawl pin would add a bit of extra class to it’s simple, but very stylish look.

Because both sides of the shawl are equally easy on the eye, you can also choose which side you prefer to show off when you walk out the door!
