Made using the KB 3/8” gauge 24 peg Baby Knit Loom and one strand of worsted weight yarn. However, any loom with 6 pegs using a compatible yarn weight would work.

Designed as the border for a baby blanket, this simple loom knitted edging would be a nice touch anywhere you want to dress up the edge of a project.

The edging may be knitted separately and seamed to the border of a project. Also, since it is made sideways it can be attached as you knit the edging. This pattern just covers the actual edging, so if you plan on knitting the edging directly onto the project, I suggest that you watch any of the YouTube videos that demonstrate this technique. When you’re in YouTube, search for “loom knitted edging” to see a list of available videos.
