P'Laines du Léman Scarf
This textured scarf is created for the Woolstock festival 2026, organised in Sciez, near Lake Léman in France.
For this shawl, I wanted a beautiful, textured stitch. It gives the shawl a stunning texture and looks good on both sides!
The textured stitch sections are alternated with not-too-complicated lace sections, which give an extra twist to the design.
The scarf’s shape is triangular. The little holes make it easy to pull the shawl’s point through, and it will stay in place while moving.
The P’Laines du Léman Scarf is knitted from a narrow point, with I-cord borders and increases on the right edge of every RS rw.
Star st sections are alternated with lace sections, going onwards to the Islandic bind-off.
It takes only 1 skein of yarn, so let’s get those lonely skeins out of your stash!
