VertTiges Sweater
While my daughter was pursuing her master’s degree in Norway, I had the chance to visit this beautiful country a few times.
I came to know the Norwegian yarn brands, and this sweater is made with one of my favourites: Sandness Garn.
During a trip to Trondheim, I discovered the most gorgeous yarn store, Uniq Garn. The amazing Varm Pinus or “Furu” colour, which means warm pine, was of course too hard to resist for the green yarn lover I am!
The name VertTiges became obvious to me; vert in French means green, and tiges means twigs. Vertiges, in one word, means dizziness!
The VertTiges sweater is knitted seamlessly from the top down, beginning with a folded collar and proceeding to the yoke, which features One Colour Brioche/False ribbing and raglan increases.
The body and sleeves are separated to work the body to the desired length, using the One Colour Brioche Rib Stitch and a Twigs pattern, which adds a unique twist to the design.
The pattern includes videos on how to knit the folded collar and the One Colour Brioche stitch.
