The neckband of the colorful Polychrome Cardigan is worked back and forth from the top down, and then a steek is added at the front center and the rest of the cardigan is worked in the round. Combine a neutral main color with bright accents for a piece that makes a statement.

Yarn Universal Yarn Deluxe Chunky (100% wool; 120 yd 110 m/3½ oz 100 g): #50002 Millet Natural Undyed (MC), 5 (5, 6, 6, 7, 7) skeins; #1900 Ebony (A), 2 (2, 3, 3, 3, 3) skeins; #22274 Purple Larkspur (B) and #22281 Clay (C), 1 skein each.

Needles Sizes 10 (6 mm) and 10½ (6.5 mm): 32” circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Size 11 (8 mm): 32” cir. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Markers (m); stitch holders; five 1” buttons; sewing needle and thread; tapestry needle.
