This pattern is for a blanket square. Make as many as you like and join to make any size blanket. If you use this pattern for a baby blanket, you will want to line it because of the strands on the back of your work.

Materials
Approximately 170 yards of fingering-weight yarn for each square – 110 yards of background color (MC), 40 yards of stem and leaf color (CC1), and 20 yards for the flowers – 2 colors were used in the sample but you could use 1 color or 3.
US4/3.5mm circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge. You will want to start with a longer cable (24 – 32”) and switch to smaller cables and finally dpns as your square decreases
Circular needles 2 US sizes smaller than your gauge needles (US 2/3.0 mm if your gauge needles are US 4/3.5 mm) with a 24 – 32” cable for the first few rounds
