A great cowl for a skein of luscious sock yarn, it has just enough lace to make it fun to knit and give it a great drape and a fun style. A fun and easy knit that is fun and easy to wear!

This cowl incorporates the Little Arrowhead Lace pattern and is named for a beautiful park on the Fox River in St. Charles, Illinois, the lands of the Pottawatomie before they were forcibly removed in the 1830s.

There is an easy chart or you can use the written instructions.

The size is easily changed by choosing a different number to cast on, in a multiple of 6. For a different weight of yarn, use a needle size a bit larger than the needle recommended for your yarn.

Most knitters prefer using one needle size for the whole cowl. If your ribbing is quite loose, you could drop down one size on one or both borders.
