The Puffover vest is easy to knit- the knitting pattern is almost seamless (just shoulders are joined together). The vest is worked beginning at the hem, bottom up in the round. Using 2 strands of Drops Air yarn, this simple design is knitted using basic stitches. The pattern for the vest is both charted and written instructions.
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate.
Sts used: K, p, ssk, k2tog, p2tog, CDD. Abbreviations and st explanations are included.
MATERIALS REQUIRED:
• 7, (8), 10, (12) x 50 g balls 1050, (1200), 1500, (1800) m or 1148, (1312), 1640, (1968) yds using Drops Air (yellow shade 22 colour) yarn, 2 strands held together.
NB If you substitute another yarn, please check tension and yardage.
• 1 Circular needle 6.00 mm x 50 cm (US 10).
• 1 Circular needle 6.00 mm x 100 cm (US 10).
• 1 Circular needle 7.00 mm x 100 cm (US 10 3⁄4).
• 1 Tapestry needle.
• 1 Stitch Marker.

ACTUAL MEASUREMENTS AFTER BLOCKING
Flat width (just below armhole) - 46, (53), 61, (68) cm / 18, (21), 24, (26 3⁄4) ins. Length (from top of the shoulder) - 60, (60), 60, (63) cm / 23 3⁄4, (23 3⁄4), 23 3⁄4, (25) ins.
Armhole width - 23, (23), 23, (26) cm/ 9, (9), 9, (10 1⁄4) ins.
GAUGE (Tension): 13 sts and 21 rows = 10 cm (4 ins), measured over stockinette st pattern, (garment being blocked), using 7 mm (US 10 3⁄4) needle and 2 strands held together.
16 sts and 25 rows = 10 cm (4ins), measured over Rib k2p3, using 6mm (US 10) needle and 2 strands held together.
NB Needle size is only a guide - if you get too many stitches for 10 cm, take a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches for 10 cm, take a smaller needle
