These fingerless gloves are a fun knit for yourself, or a quick gift for someone else. Clear instructions make this a great project for someone new to cables - they were test-knitted and approved by people who had never done cables before and were able to do these successfully without frustration.

The primary picture shows mitts that go just beyond the wrist but the pattern includes instructions so that you can continue the cable pattern and lengthen the gloves as you like.

These are made with worsted weight yarn (gauge 20 stitches to 4”/10 cm) and look great with solids, tonals, and tweeds, but are also fun with variegated or hand-painted yarn.

This pattern is a companion to Double Cable Ponytail / Messy Bun Hat.
