Rainbows have almost become a ‘theme’ for 2020, and were already recognised as important LGBTQA and rainbow baby symbols. Or sometimes you just need something cheery to brighten your day! Whatever the reason, this rainbow appliqué can be made in less than an hour and can be added to cards, bags, outfits or used as a flatlay prop.

The pattern is just over 2 pages long and includes a colour photo of the appliqué. The finished rainbow, if using the suggested yarn and hook, measures 13cmx6.5cm approx. It’s the perfect pattern for beginners and experienced crocheters will be able to whip up a couple in an hour.

For this pattern, you will need:
Yarn: DK Weight yarn in whatever colour
Hook: 4mm
Tapestry needle
Scissors

You will need to be familiar with the following terms in US terminology:

Ch- chain
SC- Single Crochet
FO- Fasten off
Magic Ring
Colour Changes
