A simple cuff-down sock with an eye of the partridge short row heel and an 8-row ribbed lace repeat. These socks were designed and knit as a birthday gift for my mom, who loves gardens, roses, and everything pink! The lace pattern is meant to mimic rambling roses climbing up a trellis gate.

Knitspiration This pattern is inspired by one of my favourite books my mom read to me when I was little, The Secret Garden, as well as by the beautiful roses in my mom’s own garden!
