This is a project @campfiberyarns and myself have been working on since the end of last year. When I started my design I imagined how the ripples on the water start expanding and making the surface look like it’s moving.

After that I turned my thoughts into how even the simplest of things, like a sincere smile to a stranger has the ability to completely change someone’s vibe - what we know as the ripple effect. A little action that influences you and the world.

When I sit down to design, I like to start from a concept, a feeling or an image of something I want to translate through my work and share with you in the hopes it brings you joy.

This is a crescent shaped shawl, it has eyelets, stockinette and garter stitches plus a beautiful and very delicate looking lace border! The pattern is very easy to follow and easy to memorize, and I’m sure you will enjoy this project.

Measured over eyelet pattern (after blocking) – 32 rows and 28 sts in 4”/ 10cm
Final shawl measurements: approximately 19” depth (measured from the middle) and 49 ½” long
** Gauge is not essential for this design, although keep in mind that your gauge will determine the amount of yarn you require for the shawl and it will affect the final measurements. This design uses most of the yardage (one full skein of each color) so be sure to check gauge and/or have extra yarn for the bind off.
