All clues have now been released.

Roll the Dice is the April 2023 MKAL for the Fingerless Gloves Fanatics group. You can find the KAL thread here; please drop in and say hello! You will also find clues and tips in the thread.

Clues will drop once per week on April 1, 8, 15 and 22. An intro page will be released March 31.

The pattern works best with solid or semi-solid colours. The pattern features three different designs for fingerless mitts: a colourwork design, a Gansey design and a lace design. During the MKAL, members were invited to roll a die to determine which clue they would work. Of course, the option remained to knit one single design throughout. The resulting mitts were varied, colourful and unique (sometimes within a single pair!). Now, post-MKAL, it is up to the knitter to decide how they will work with the pattern!

The pattern is fully charted for both Gansey and colourwork designs. A gusset chart is included for the lace design, as well as individual charts for the lace sections.

Use your preferred method of knitting small circumference projects: DPNs, magic loop and TAAT on two circular needles all work well. Right and left mitt are identical, so no worries about making two left mitts!

The pattern will be free for the duration of the KAL; once the KAL is finished, it will be $4.00 CAD. No code is necessary, simply put the pattern in your basket and the discount will apply automatically.
