This colorful beanie is soft, warm and light.

The hat is worked from the bottom up with easy colorwork (charted). It is great for using up dk or sport weight yarn scraps. Choose your own color scheme in solid colors but keep the contrast high enough. You can use the same color for the background or use different colors for the bottom, the middle and the top parts of the hat.

The hat is easy and quick to knit if you know how to cast on, knit and purl in the round, knit with two colors and decrease (ssk and k2tog).
