The Royal Kitties is an INTERMEDIATE, crochet tapestry pattern bundle inspired by my own kitty, Tonka! This pattern is fully customizable so that you can make the cat in your life the royal highness they already know they are. This pattern is perfect for crocheters for whom this may be their first hanging tapestry but do have some colorwork experience.

The Royal Kitties Tapestry instructions include customizable grids for BOTH king and queen kitty so that you can design the face to match a kitty in your life! The pattern PDF also includes a sample king and queen kitty with Stitch Fiddle link, printable custom kitty worksheets, a color planning worksheet, tapestry photo tutorials (color changes, yarn floats, and more!), and finishing options for your tapestry such as adding a border or a dowel for hanging.

The yarn weight and hook size of this project can be altered to fit your needs. Know that yarn amounts may vary considerably as you change the yarn weight, hook size, stitch used, etc.

Materials

• approximately 100 g Worsted Weight Yarn (#4) in various colors
• 3.75 mm crochet hook
• tapestry needle
• scissors

Optional Materials

• 1-2 dowels
• approximately 1 sq. ft. of stiff fabric or felt
• cotton thread in desired color
• sewing needle / sewing machine
• sewing pins
