An adorable sunsuit for your little bathing beauty! Ruffles on the bib and bum.

I LOVE the vintage feel that this little sunsuit has with all of it’s little feminine ruffles. Actually, I think this could also be worn as a little bathing suit. TOO CUTE!

This pattern come in two sizes: Newborn - 3 months and 3-6 months.

There are lots of yarns that you can use to knit this up on your bulky gauge machine. You are looking for that 18 sts per 4 inch gauge (US size 4). The sunsuit pictured is a 3-6 month size and took 3.8 oz of Bernat Giggles yarn - one skein of each color with plenty of the accent color left over.

A ribber is used for the ribbing on the legs, but if you don’t have one you could easily handknit the ribbing or substitute some garter stitch or try mock ribbing. Directions are given for a Brother Bulky gauge machine, but other brand bulky machines (Studio, Artisan, etc.) can be used taking into account your settings for your particular model.

You will also need about 16” of 3/8” elastic for the waist.

Just add some sunblock and your ready to go!
