The second-hand sweater weather socks remind me of an oversized 90s cabled sweater, perfectly cozy and worn in. While they might not be a sweater, they can be enjoyed year round! These socks feature a mock-cable rib cuff and the mock-cable motif continued down the sides of the sock, broken rib and a pointelle panel down the center and back. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Sizes correspond to the following measurements:
14.3 cm (17.2 cm, 20 cm, 22.8 cm); 5.7” (6.8”, 8”, 9.1”)

Gauge: 35 stitches per 10 cm (4”) in chart pattern, measured after blocking.

Most sizes will require one hank of fingering weight yarn. This is dependent on the length of the leg and size of foot. I used a contrast color for the toe and cuff of the sample.

Pattern includes instruction for both a heel flap and gusset heel or a short row heel (boomerang style). If doing the boomerang heel a contrast color heel cannot be done.
