The window seat socks remind me of sitting in a bay window looking outside on a rainy day. These socks feature a mock-cable rib cuff and the mock-cable motif continued throughout the sock with broken rib featured throughout.

Sizes correspond to the following measurements:
14.3 cm (17.2 cm, 20 cm, 22.8 cm); 5.7” (6.8”, 8”, 9.1”)

Gauge: 35 stitches per 10 cm (4”) in chart pattern, measured after blocking.

Most sizes will require one hank of fingering weight yarn. This is dependent on the length of the leg and size of foot. I used a contrast color for the toe and cuff of the sample.

Pattern includes instruction for both a heel flap and gusset heel or a short row heel (boomerang style). If doing the boomerang heel a contrast color heel cannot be done.
