Life has gotten busy, super busy but there is always time to create a new sock pattern. I’ve had this yarn for a while so knew I wanted to do a textural sock that would keep some interest.

Difficulty

Knitting from the top down with written instructions for the pattern. Written in three circumference sizes just follow Small (S), Medium (M) or Large (L) throughout the pattern.

Materials Needed

4ply sock yarn, 60 to 80g, 240 meters / 320 meters depending on circumference and footsize

Needles: 2.5mm double pointed needles

Three moveable stitch markers, sewing up needle for grafting and scissors

Tension / Gauge

30 sts and 40 rows over 10 cm / 4 inch square in stocking stitch

Sizes

Circumference (the widest part of the foot, all the way around)

Small - 19 cm / 7.5 inches - 54 sts

Medium - 21.5 cm / 8.5 inches - 66 sts

Large - 24.5 cm / 9.5 inches - 72 sts
