Venice is one of the most beautiful cities in Italy. Its fascination lies in the canals, steps, bridges and the unforgettable San Marco Square. The gondolas slowly moving in the canals, the labyrinth of tiny alleys that make you feel lost. Admire the facade of the church which usually faces the piazza, and continue your walk. There’s beauty everywhere, layered with time and memories.

Serenissima socks take you to the alleys of Venice, the pattern resembles the layered beauty of the city. The pattern is like Venice, looks complicated while being relaxing and easy to approach.

These fingering weight socks are knit cuff down with a heel flap, using the Magic Loop method. An intricate looking lace and cable pattern covers the leg, running down the heel flap. The pattern continues to the toe decreases.

1 skein or 140 (180, 230) 275 m / 150 (200, 250) 300 yds of fingering weight yarn.

Gauge
32 sts x 48 rnds = 10 cm /4” with 2.25 mm (US 1) needles in stockinette st in the round after blocking.
