The St. Olaf College Sesqui mitten- youth bundle includes five sizes of mitten patterns. The patterns use St. Olaf College colors, follows Norwegian knitting techniques, and uses a popular Norwegian yarn, Rauma. All sizes of the mitten-- baby, youth and adult-- are symbolically designed.

Bite Lite Itsy Bitsy is the smallest pattern with thumbs. It has two designs, shield and O, and is sized for 1.5-2.5 years.

Trollungen Troll Tot is the second pattern with thumbs. It has two designs, shield and O, and has two sizes: 3-4 and 5-6 years.

Tulla Rugrat is the third pattern with thumbs. It has three designs, shield, O, and 150, and is sized for 7-8 years.

Løveunga The Cub comes three designs, shield, O, and 150. It is sized for 9+.

Each of the patterns in the youth bundle are slightly different. In total, this results in 20 charted patterns: 4 each for Itsy Bitsy and Troll Tot (shield and O for both right and left hands), 6 for both Rugrat and The Cub (shield, O, and 150 for both right and left hands). Mittens can be made with a short or long (folded-over) cuff and can easily be tweaked for length and width.
