A beautiful and bold fleur-de-lis type motif is striking in high contrast colors.
Shadow wielding is a powerful signet found in the Emyprean series. Something about this motif that reminded me of dark shadows creeping up and closing in, a battle between light and dark. It is, in fact, the motif on the back side of the Death Wing Cowl. This stranded colorwork project knits up quickly in worsted/ DK weight, pairing well with both the Death Wing and the Shadow Wielder Cowls.

Pattern has worsted and DK weight options and is written for one size only. Adjustment suggestions are provided within the notes sections of the pattern.
This is a loosely fitted hat, slouchy style, with 2 brim options.
