This is a simple and straightforward shawl pattern that is suitable for an advanced beginner. It would make an ideal introduction to cable as it only has 1 cable panel.

It is a one-size pattern.

Of course, the decorative stripe can be omitted if you wish, and the cable does not need to be multiple colours. Just make sure that you have enough of the main colour to knit everything.
