This lacy 1884 pattern was surprisingly easy to work! A 2-row pattern is worked 5 times followed by 6-row pattern that’s mostly knit across and purl across. One row includes double yarn overs. There is a multiple of 8 stitches + 2 selvage stitches. The stacked decreases make charming scallops in the body of the lace and at the cast-on edge.

Skills needed: cast on, knit, purl, yarn over, double yarn over, k2tog and bind off.

Gauge is not important in this pattern. Any block-able yarn/thread will work. Make a swatch to check gauge and appearance.
