Construction notes
This top is has a simple and minimalist design. The beauty of the yarns is emphasized by the contrast they make.
It is worked seamlessly bottom up. The change of yarn is placed to fall over any bra cups. You can either wear a strapless bra or one with special bands.
To keep the simplicity I avoided any ribbing and therefore the bottom hem and part of the armpits are seemed with a simple crochet stitch. The mohair hems will not be seemed. While you are working on the decrease for the armholes you will also change the yarn. The whole project is worked in stockinette stitch and easy to follow.

Yarn
Main yarn (A)
5 (6,6,7,7,7,8) skeins of Laguna by Lang yarns 80% viscose, 20% silk, (77 m/50 g)
color shown: K23 light grey; or approx. 420-675 yds 385-616 m of a similar yarn that gives you the correct gauge.
If you choose a different yarn choose one with a silky and shiny look. It will emphasize the contrast with the mohair yarn.

1 skein of Seta Mohair by Birgit Freyer, 50% silk and 50% mohair (375 m/25 g)

You can easily choose a thicker mohair yarn.
