This pattern will teach you to knit a simple dog sweater in a solid color. This is the basic framework I use for all my sweaters.

This pattern is pretty easy. You need to know how to knit, purl, cast on, bind off and sew your pieces together.

You’ll need one skein of worsted weight yarn, size 8 or 9 US knitting needles, and measuring tape.

I give instructions on how to measure your dog and directions to knit the four sizes of dog sweaters I offer in my shop:

XS - Chest 9-12”
S - Chest 11-14”
M - Chest 13-16”
L - Chest 16-19”
