Just for transparency: I have yet to have this pattern tech edited, it will be done (and remain free) once my Etsy shop is reopen and I can comfortably pay my tech editor during these uncertain times. I will of course be on hand, as always, for pattern support!

I love knitting washcloths! (Or dishcloths, facecloths, however you use them!) They’re so quick and make great gifts.

There are plenty of free patterns available, so I thought, why not add a few more to the mix.

These patterns are available on my website/blog and have a downloadable option too.

There will be 4 patterns in total, with the 2nd in the ‘collection’ coming later this week! With each using around 10g of DK cotton and using a mixture of knit and purl stitches. Perfect for beginners. And with an optional crochet loop to hang your cloths dry between uses and after machine washing.

Each cloth is easily adjustable, I tend to like them on the small side, but just cast on more stitches, as long as your cast on number is divisible by 4, you should be good to go!

You will need:

3mm needles
3mm crochet hook
A darning needle

Gauge is not essential, however, depending on your gauge it will affect how much yardage you use.

I would LOVE to see your washcloths, so please don’t forget to tag me on Instagram @ littlewonderfibreco and use the hashtag # littlewonderfibreco, it’s so fun seeing your versions of my patterns.
