Transparency: I will be getting all the patterns in this little collection tech edited soon! Although I will be, as always, on hand for pattern support should you need it :) Thank you all so, so much for all the lovely comments, messages and ALL the love for this little washcloth collection, it has been so wonderful and I hope it has brought you come joy and calm in these uncertain times.

Simple Washcloth No3 is probably the most ‘elaborate’ of the four washcloth, and, do you know what?! It is still incredibly simple, the stitch pattern is a new-to-me stitch pattern although I have seen it around a fair bit and it is so pretty and simple to knit up! Another combination of knits and purls to create the seer sucker stitch pattern.

You will need:

25g DK Cotton, the cotton in the sample is Rico Rumi (it is affordable, incredibly soft and washes amazingly!)
3mm Needles
3mm Crochet Hook (optional)
Darning Needle

Optional extra
The crochet hook is needed for the optional extra of a little crochet hoop, this is perfect for hanging your washcloth to dry after use or after it has been in the washing machine/handwash.

The pattern is smaller than your usual washcloths because that is how I personally prefer them, however, you can adjust the size of your washcloth by casting on a larger or smaller number of stitches which are divisible by 4. Keep in mind, however, that this will, of course, affect the amount of yardage your washcloth will use. With my gauge I am able to get 2 washcloths from one ball of Rico Rumi and maybe a crochet puff.

I would love to see your finished washcloths and your works in progress too! Feel free to follow me on Instagram, you can find me as @littlewonderfibreco and you can use the hashtags #littlewonderfibreco or #simplewashclothcollection. It is always so fun to see everyone’s versions of my patterns!

I hope you have fun knitting these up! Oh, and they make fantastic gifts or donations too, I’ll be making more to put in my gift pile!

Take care and much love
