Love knitting? Would you guess that the “Simply Ribby Rib Dress” is knitted using “Sock Yarn”? Just because something is labelled “Sock Yarn”, doesn’t mean you have to make socks! It’s also fabulous for knitting dresses and other garments.
The “Simply Ribby Rib Dress” is chic and super comfy. The dress has a close- fitting top, short sleeves, round neckline edge and flared skirt. The “ribby” pleats give you a simple but modern look. This dress is knitted top down using a specific stretch yarn - Rico Design Superba Cotton Stretch Print superwash fine and soft cotton and wool blend: a colour mix of red, purple, green and blue shades. The knitting pattern is very easy to follow.
For this top down, seamless dress, you begin with the neck. As this dress is designed with a turtleneck neckline, it is very easy to start.
The big advantage of working top down is that you can adjust the length of the sleeves and dress length to suit your needs.
