A relaxing knit for those quiet mornings.

Those mornings when the house is still and you can enjoy peaceful knitting in between sips of hot coffee or tea, knitting meditatively, lost in your thoughts.

This asymmetrical triangle shawl, comprised of alternating bands of hexagon stitch and garter stripes, starts with a few stitches on one end and gradually increases along one edge. An easy to memorize pine cone lace motif finishes off the shawl.

The shawl explores the hexagon stitch (a type of tuck stitch) that looks very similar to honeycomb brioche - but it’s not brioche! A few colourful garter stripes break up the hexagon stitch sections - feel free to use up odd remnants and leftovers! Whatever brings you joy.
