Wrist warmers inspired by the cover of book six of the Outlander series, A Breath of Snow and Ashes, representing the burning of the big house. These Tunisian crochet wrist warmers use two colors of fingering weight yarn (100-130yds of each color). The pattern has four sizes XS (S, M, L) fitting a hand circumference of 6-6.5” (7-7.5”, 8-8.5”, 9-9.5”). Yarns as pictured, Cascade 220 fingering (50g/273yds/250m) in 8010 Natural & 4002 Jet (XS), and Berroco Ultra Wool Fine (100g/400yds/366m) in 53152 Heather & 53157 Lavender (S), 53149 Pine & 53147 Stonewashed (M), and 53152 Ocean & 53162 Forget Me Not (L). Worked in the round, the color changes are achieved through the use of different stitches that bring the pull-through pass yarn either to the front or the back of the work. This means that there are no yarn floats or carries and that the wrong side, although different, looks as finished as the right side.
