The above link is a video showing how to make a better
one piece tassel.

A simple-to-knit lace scarf that looks elegant when done. Beautiful yarns like Malabrigo or MadelineTosh go a long way in making a pretty lace into an amazing, quick to knit scarf. Snowdrop is the name of the lace and so perfectly describes the final piece. Three tassels on each end add a nice finishing touch.

Materials:
400 yds Malabrigo Rios in Glazed Carrot or any soft merino worsted weight yarn.
US size 10 1/2 circular or flat needles (or size needed to obtain gauge)

Finished size: approximately 14 X 50 inches after blocking. More yarn will allow knitter to make a longer finished length. PLEASE NOTE: gauge, width and length are pretty fluid on this piece - blocking will change the proportions but it knits up quickly and using about 400 yards of yarn will give a lovely wearable scarf regardless of differences in gauge. More yarn will give a much longer scarf if desired.
