Snowfall a is great slouchy beanie pattern using those very trendy fur pom-poms. I used one hank of Malabrigo Worsted for the sample shown in the photo, and my testers used a variety of other worsted weight yarns (one hank also). Thank you to all my pattern testers who helped me with this pattern.

This slouchy beanie has a harmonious combination of lace and cables, making it quite dimensional yet still soft and squishy.

And if you don’t want to add the pom-pom on top of the beanie, then you do you! I love seeing what others do with the patterns that I publish.

You will also need size US 8 DPN’s and possibly embroidery floss that matches your pom-pom, just depends on how you need to attach it. And it depends on the type of pom-pom
you place on the top of the beanie.

Row 45 should read : (k1, p2, k7, p2, k1, p2, k10, p2) 4x’s

In the original Snowfall pattern there is an extra p2 next to one of the p2’s. My mistake for not seeing this the third time around of editing. Hope this is helpful, and thank you to those who noticed this and reached out to me.
