This is a beautifully textured adult-sized beanie with a folded brim. It uses a super bulky weight yarn, therefore is a quick knit to keep you warm. The folded brim allows the work to fit snug around the head while the stretchy nature of the decorative stitches makes it a comfortable winter accessory.

Beanie is only available in adult size (snug on 22” head circumference). It uses two skeins Sugar Bush Chill. You are free to use your own super bulky weight yarn. Although the recommended needle size is US15, please note that you might need to go up or down a needle size in order to obtain gauge.

Yardage for beanie - 90 to 105yards. Please make sure you have extra yarn.

Gauge for beanie - 8-10 sts and 14-15 rows per 4” x 4” stockinette in the round.

This pattern received an update on March 2021 to include instructions for mittens in small, medium, and large sizes. Instructions for fingerless mittens included. Links to a video knit-along and tutorials provided. Magic loop is used although you are free to use DPNs.

Needle sizes for mitts are: US11 for small, and US13 for medium and large. Adult sizes only. I use an extra DPN in a smaller size to pick up stitches around the thumb.

Yardage for small to medium mitts - 60 to 80yards. Yardage for large - up to 90yards. Make sure you have extra yarn.

Gauge for mitts per 4” x 4” stockinette in the round - 10-11 sts and 17-18 rows using US11 and 9-10 sts and 14-16 rows using US13.
