Sock Petal is knit in sock yarn. The yarn creates interesting striping within the pattern. The main portion of the scarf is knit as one piece with the opposite edging sewn on to.

You may use this piece as the closure by leaving an opening when sewing it or attach a loop or button underneath to close the scarf.

The scarf can be knit in any weight yarn simply by changing the needles.
