THE SONAR SCARF…

… is a classic, rectangular scarf that will keep you warm and funky throughout the cold season. Its geometrical pattern is an absolute eye catcher and fits perfectly to a slick and monochrome look. Using the double knit technique a fully reversible fabric is created as two sides are knitted up at once.
Let it pop out in your favorite colors and create an outstanding accessory. Although heavy contrast works best for a clear three dimensional effect you can also make subtle combinations if you want the scarf to be a laid back sidekick.

NOTE: When choosing a different yarn keep in mind that you create a double layered fabric, therefore it is important that your yarn choice is not too thick and/or heavy - a different yarn weight will have an impact on the finished measurements and weight of the scarf. Lamana Como is a special light-weight yarn, therefore your scarf will have the same weight as a normal scarf although it is knitted double! Using a different yarn may affect the required yardage.

NOTE: Although gauge is not critical, it is recommended to do a swatch as it might be necessary to choose a smaller needle size compared to your usual knitting in order to create a dense fabric. This is particularly important when using heavy contrasting colors to avoid the opposing side shining through.

Dank der Doppelstricktechnik entsteht ein Strickstück ohne Rückseite, da zwei Vorderseiten zugleich gearbeitet werden.
