Early mornings on the farm are chilly and damp, even during midsummer. Fog hangs in the valley, blanketing our pastures. It’s quiet, save for the beginnings of bird song as they greet the day. I like to wear these fingerless mitts as I wander in the garden or watch the changing morning light on the far ridges. This time is my favorite; the land holds both the stillness of slumber and a little anticipatory spark of what joys the day might bring.

Sourwood Fingerless Mitts are the perfect knit accessory for wherever you may wander. They feature a central crossed cable that is beginner-friendly, and gentle, stretchy ribbing.

This was created in collaboration with yarn from SourWood Fiber Farm, a Shetland & Leicester sheep farm located in the beautiful blue ridge mountains of North Carolina.
