I live along the central Oregon coast. Not so far away, the South Jetty road winds itself along the base of towering sand dunes, offering glimpses of the ocean. Climb to the top of the dunes and the ocean spreads out as far as the eye can see, before melting into the horizon. The ever-present wind plays in the dune grass, pushing marine fog inland.

South Jetty Socks are inspired by the movement of the waves and the beauty of the ocean along the south shore. The socks are knit Magic Loop and feature a 10-stitch lace repeat and a round toe.

Materials:

  • US 2 needles, 40” circulars for Magic Loop
  • 1 skein Knit Picks Stroll fingering (231 yards)
  • Stitch markers (optional)
