Spreckles is a triangular shawl designed to showcase orbit-dye pattern yarns.

Using the Gestalt principles of proximity and alignment, pops of color are created randomly with the orbit yarn color splashes of 1 - 2 in (2.5 - 5 cm). The “spreckles” are framed with semi-solid lace stripes in a complementary color.

The shawl is finished with a hemmed lace edging on the long edge and an i-cord binding in the complementary color on the remaining sides.
