This is a lengthy pattern with lots of options, and as usual with my patterns, lots of scope for tweaking to add your own personal touch. I haven’t included total yardages as they are so variable, given the options in the pattern, or a gauge is it isn’t critical.

Again, it is not a beginner pattern and relies on either some knowlege for standard stitches, (picot for instance), or a willingness to use s stitch library or youtube. There are no particularly difficult stitches so the pattern is within the capability of an enthusiastic beginner.

The patterns are ideal for using up bits of your stash and work well with other brands of yarn. As ever, the pattern is as much of a recipe as a set of instructions and though large, medium and toddler blanket sizes are given, they can be adjusted easily for any size you need.

Let your imagination run riot!! Use different colour palettes, change around the flowers, whatever you like! (You could even turn the unicorn into a cat or a dog if you like. Experiment!)
