Inspired by classic Nordic patterns and Selbu designs, the Sprite Hat hosts a variety of traditional colorwork motifs. The hat is knit from the bottom-up, and includes a folded brim for extra ear warmth and a clean finished edge. The pattern can be knit in either 2 contrasting colors, or 4 colors for more intricacy (Option 1 & Option 2).

Sizing
This hat is worked in one Adult size, and will fit most head sizes that are 20-25 inches around.

Finished dimensions
Approx. 8 inches from top to bottom, with a circumference of 21”.

• Knit Picks Palette fingering weight yarn (231yds per 50g) {Option 1: 2 colors (40g of Color A, 30g of Color B); Option 2: 4 colors (20g of Color A, 20g of Color B, 15g of Color C, 15g of Color D)}
• 16” US Size 2 (2.75mm) circular needles
• 40” US Size 2 (2.75mm) circular needles OR US Size 2 (2.75mm) DPNs
• 6 stitch markers (5 of one color and 1 of a contrasting color, to mark the beginning of the round)
