Stitch & Stash Project Bag is our official Husker KAL for the 2020 football season. This fall we will not have a football season but that doesn’t stop us from coming together through our stitches to knit this project bag and showing our support for our favorite football team.

This project bag is knitted all in one piece from the bottom. It begins with the vinyl bag bottom which has pre-punched holes for the single crochet stitches. Once the crochet stitches are added to the bottom then the stitches are picked up and knitted. Now the knitting is ready to begin! Once the chart is completed for the body of the bag, the project is bound off and ready for the fabric liner (which is optional) and strap handles.

KAL begins Sept 1st with our first Zoom meeting from 6 to 8 pm. Meeting information & password will be sent to KAL participants via email.

There will be regular zoom meetings throughout the “season” to provide tutorials and to share the progress of each other’s bags.
