The gauge is 32 sts x 34 rows stranded, unblocked.

Make sure your colours have sufficient contrast, when in doubt take a black and white picture.

I made mine with 6 different colours, but there is nothing to stop you from using more and change colour for each strip of the pattern, or using fewer colours even. The total yarn used is around 650 meters and should be a yarn suitable for stranded knitting such as for example jamieson’s spindrift, jamieson & smith, rowan felted tweed or rowan fine tweed
