A variety of lace patterns strung together makes this scarf a wonderfully feminine display to enhance many garments. Using a fingering weight yarn gives way to a very light and airy scarf, easily wrapped around into several varied styles. For a bulkier look , beef up your yarn weight and use an appropriate needle size. Always remember, though, to increase your yardage to accordingly.

The pattern is an easy one to memorize, 24 rows overall, with 1 lace pattern 6 rows and another 4. The center pattern being the 24. Stitches are all fairly basic in lace work…yarn overs, K2tog, Ssk, P2tog. So sit back and enjoy, whether for yourself or a gift to a special someone.

Materials needed for this project are 700 yds of fingering weight yarn. I used Knit Picks Palette, a 100% wool yarn. Blocks very nicely for knit lace. #5 straight knitting needles, and 4 stitch markers.

Hope you enjoy your new project.
