This is a top-down, colorwork and stripes sock with a German Short Row Heel. It is worked using magic loop; needle 1 will be front of foot/instep/leg, and needle 2 will be back of the foot/leg and heel.

The idea of this sock came from wanting a bit of interest added to a simple striped sock. This design will peek above boots to show off the fun colorwork, and hidden below is the fun stripes.

Gauge:
32 sts and 40 rnds = 4”/10 cm in st st (stripe section) in the round on US #0/2.00mm needles

32 sts and 28 rnds = 4”/10cm in colorwork in the round on US #1/2.25mm needles

Sizes:
Size 1 (2, 3)
8” (9”, 10”) actual foot circumference
7” (8”, 9”) sock circumference
Sock will fit with about 1” negative ease. Sample knit in size 2.
