Sturt desert peas are the floral emblem of South Australia, and a most peculiar, hardy little plant. Flowering in deserts, they are a rare but beautiful reminder to bloom where you are planted, no matter the circumstances. Now you don’t need to go bushwalking to enjoy their vivid hues - you can take them with you on any walk you like!

This toe up, charted pattern is written so that you’ll never work more than 2 colours per round, with a colour block design that makes it so easy to play with colours (and use up your prettiest scraps!). They are a quick and satisfying knit, with a few textured stitches to really make the pattern pop.

The floral motif is very versatile and can be worn by any gender, as it looks equally iconic with a flowing skirt as popping out from under a smart pair of trousers. These Sturt desert peas really are guaranteed to please.
