The pattern is 3 pages long and includes colour photos of the finished item.

The finished item measures 3”x3.75” approx when made with a 4.5mm hook and DK weight yarn. The project is ideal for beginner crocheters looking to extend their skills, or intermediate crocheters looking for a quick and easy project to achieve within the hour. The finished plant can be pinned to clothing or accessories, turned into a fridge magnet or stuck onto a card or another craft project. It’s also a great stash buster project, as only small quantities of yarn are needed. The size of the plant can be easily changed by using a different size hook and yarn weight.

For this pattern you will need:

  • Yarn: DK weight yarn in any colour for the pot and green for the plant
  • Hook: 4.5mm
  • Tapestry needle
  • Scissors
  • Self adhesive wobbly eyes (optional)

You will need to be familiar with the following terms (US):

  • Ch- chain
  • SS/Sl St- Slip Stitch
  • SC- Single Crochet
  • HDC- Half Double Crochet
  • DC- Double Crochet
  • FO- Fasten off
  • Increase by doing 2 single crochets in 1 stitch
  • St- Stitches
  • RS- Right Side
  • WS- Wrong Side

Gauge isn’t important for this project.
