• DESCRIPTION:
This washcloth, as advertised, is super simple. Using small alterations of basic stitches creates a simple, textured fabric that catches the eye. It works up quickly and would be great for any kind of gift.

• GAUGE & SIZING:
Gauge (tension) isn’t very important in this project. For reference, my gauge is 17 sts and 11 rows per 4”.
Play around with hook sizes until you find one that makes a fabric you like. This pattern is written to produce a washcloth that is roughly 8 inches by 8 inches.

• ABBREVIATIONS & STITCHES USED:
ch = chain
st = stitch
sp = space
SC = single crochet
SCFLO = single crochet front loop only (Work SC as usual, except only going through the front loop.)
DC = double crochet
DCBLO = double crochet back loop only (Work DC as usual, except only going through the front loop.)

There is no multiple for this stitch, so to change the width, simply chain any number.

• MATERIALS:
About 65-70 yards of Dishie by WeCrochet in Begonia or any #4 cotton or cotton blend.
A 4.0 mm (F) hook
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Stitch markers if desired.
