These mittens of unknown origin also come from Halldórustofa.
The original mittens are knitted in 3-ply natural colors: brown, white, and grey. The body of each mitten is a pattern of squares and diamonds which is repeated on the thumb. These mittens have a ribbed cuff and an afterthought thumb. This is a fairly simple pattern and perfect for practicing stranded knitting.
