HREFNA
Sigriður Björnsdóttir (1897-1990) trom Kornsá knitted these mittens from delicate homespun wool. The main color is black, with small patterns of white eight-petal roses. The original mittens are tightly knitted, with a small gauge. The pattern is a simple variation on the very popular eight-petal rose, and well suited for adding more colors.
The instructions are not complicated, but some practice in stranded knitting is useful before embarking on a pair of your own.
